Niharika has called Melbourne home since 2012. With an experience of more that 10 years in customer service and qualified professional with more than 15 years’ experience, she has held leadership roles in India and Australia.
As part of her community service, Niharika is also the member of “How are you” magazine, which encourages new migrants, refugees to come forward and share their stories.
Niharika has an understanding of struggles of migrants and the women who are new in City of Whittlesea. She is passionate about equitable outcomes for all and is keen to assist women of diverse origin. She is working closely with other team members for the benefit of multicultural women in her area to increase their understanding towards the services that are available for them.
She is dedicated to work for women from diverse cultural backgrounds who either have recently arrived in Australia, or have limited family and social networks and for the women who are unable to access the services that are available in their local community for their benefit and resolving difficulties in their personal situations.
